Birth of keyhole surgery

Today we are assisting with a surgical reenactment, exploring the birth of keyhole surgery with the pioneering surgeons who actually did it. The reenactment is taking place in the science museum’s operating theatre from 1983, augmented with our new simulated ‘C-arm’ radiology machine.
